Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has announced a collaboration with artist Tiffany Cooper. Humour and self-mockery are some of Karl Lagerfeld’s well-known character traits. This season, the regularly characterised designer decided to call on the talents of Tiffany Cooper, an artist recognised for her offbeat portrayals of the fashion world. Tiffany has created a mini-collection of ready-to-wear apparel and accessories in Lagerfeld’s effigy, showcasing her mordant and yet warm-hearted sense of humour while capturing the designer’s signature style. Tiffany Cooper is KARL LAGERFELD’s guest of honour for spring/summer 2015 and will also contribute to the next edition of The Karl Daily. She is currently working on a book about Karl Lagerfeld (September 2015) and will be holding an exhibition at the KARL LAGERFELD store in Paris. The capsule collection will be launched in exclusivity at colette on April 1 and on sale from April 4 at all KARL LAGERFELD points of sale.
