September 1 sees the launch of La Vie est Belle L’Absolu de Parfum from Lancôme. The fragrance designers behind the first chapters of La vie est belle, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo, once again return to the original composition, this time with more intensity and opulence. With the addition of aldehydes, a raw ingredient, the delicate floral absolutes of La vie est belle are illuminated with a new radiance. The scent contains a gourmand accord of praline, blackurrant, pear, tonka bean and vanilla pod; floral absolutes of damask rose, iris, patchouli and jasmine; and base notes of tobacco, spice, smoke and leather. La Vie est Belle L’Absolu de Parfum is priced at £52 (20ml).
