Moynat to open London store
On March 12, Moynat will open its first store outside of Paris. Founded in 1849 by Pauline Moynat, the store will be located on 112 Mount Street in Mayfair, occupying two floors, offering men’s leather goods and accessories, trunks and textiles. An in-store atelier will be dedicated to the signature personalisation service, from hand painting of initials, to taking orders for made-to-measure trunks and handbags. For the store’s interior, Gwenael Nicolas, director of Curiosity, draws inspiration from the art deco period for the ceiling pattern, and domed ceiling and arched windows echo the signature curves on Moynat trunks and handbags.
