Mercer Keeble PR has been appointed to handle online shopping platform, SODS (Students of Design Limited). The brainchild of three young entrepreneurial business women, SODS aims to offer an original tool to both sell and exhibit fashion designers’ works in an environment that creates value with no set-up cost to them. This subsequently aims to set them up for positive growth and an income revenue stream to in turn help them fund their studies and practice their skills. SODS will also act as a base where product and fashion designers can collaborate and be introduced to professionals working in exhibition, event management, surface design and other creative industries. SODS is designed and set up to exhibit, retail and aid designers to launch independent careers and build networks quickly and effectively. SODS will also manage sales and the back end of the business, plus acting as the agent for their designers should they need representation.
