People Tree collaborates with Zandra Rhodes
Fairtrade fashion brand People Tree collaborates with designer Zandra Rhodes to launch autumn / winter 2014 Happy Woman capsule collection. The collection showcases Zandra Rhodes previously archived graduation prints from the 1960’s, launching June 2014. The collection consists of retro bodycon dresses, oversized print tees and dresses in bold colours and prints, made in People Tree Fair Trade 100% certified organic cotton, from Agrocel, a People Tree partner for over 10 years, based in Gujarat, India. Agrocel supports over 40,000 organic and fairtrade farmers in India. Assisi Garments, based in South India, uses the organic cotton to create pieces, whilst providing training and employment for deaf, mute and economically disadvantaged women.
