Ipanema, the Brazilian flip-flop brand has announced Xtra Factor and BBC1Xtra presenter, Sarah-Jane Crawford, as its Style Ambassador. This is the first time Ipanema has enlisted a style ambassador to represent them solely in the UK and follows a successful partnership with Gisele Bündchen which began in 2002. Ipanema are best known for their bold and colourful flip-flop styles. Sarah-Jane Crawford comments: “I love Ipanema’s bright & tropical colours and the depth of their collection means I can style a different pair with every different outfit. As a summer-loving girl, I cannot wait to launch the Ipanema campaign!” As well as featuring in an Ipanema fashion lifestyle photo-shoot and unveiling the new summer collection, Sarah-Jane will launch Ipanema’s #GetYourSocksOff campaign on June 19, which coincides with National Flip-Flop Day.
