sass & bide collaborates with The Ethical Fashion Initiative

Australian label sass & bide has teamed with The Ethical Fashion Initiative, joining a line-up which includes Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood and Ilaria Venturini Fendi. ITC’s Ethical Fashion Initiative works in slums and disadvantaged rural areas across sub-Saharan Africa with the aim of empowering women through work. sass & bide’s involvement is a long-term commitment to collaborate with African artisans while also making fashion more fair. sass & bide has collaborated for its third instalment to create a limited edition designed Shopper, Clutch & Purse. The designs embrace tribal elements central to the sass & bide aesthetic, created by women from the Kikuyu, Masai, Samburu and other East African tribes. The limited edition collection offers The First Chapter Tote (£270), The Back Seat Clutch (£220) and Oh Yeah purse (£150) available online at sassandbide.com from November 12.
