Scottish Fashion Awards reveals Scottish Fashion Icon shortlist

 

Scottish Fashion Awards announces the shortlist for the Scottish Fashion Icon, which will be presented at the eighth annual Scottish Fashion Awards this October. Celebrating the best of what Scotland has to offer in fashion, design and textiles there are 14 categories that will be unveiled on the night, with the Scottish Fashion Icon category as the only one polled by the general public. The nominees for this year includes Gemma Cairney, Thom Evans, Calvin Harris, Kirsty Hume, Andy Murray, James MacAvoy, Julianne Moore, Amy McDonald, Louise Linton, Karen Gillan, Gerard Butler, Nina Nesbitt and Emeli Sandé. The event, which will be hosted by MTV’s Laura Whitmore, provides a platform for new and emerging Scottish talent and Scots working in fashion around the world.
