Scottish Fashion Awards announce 2016 shortlist
Nominations for the 11th annual Scottish Fashion Awards have been announced. This year’s nominees include: Scottish Model of the Year – Jean Campbell, Misha Hart, David Yang, and Oliver Greenall; Scottish Designer of the Year – Holly Fulton, Christopher Kane, Kestin Hare, Cathal McAteer FOLK and Patrick Grant ETautz; Communicator of the Year – Malcolm Edwards (Hair Stylist), Karen Dacre (Fashion Editor – Evening Standard), Kelly Lundberg (Founder – Style Me Devine), Lindsay Macpherson (Fashion Features Editor – Harrods) and Nicholas Douglas (Managing Director – Notion Magazine); Scottish Accessory Brand of the Year – Finlay & Co. (Eyewear), Kartel (Watches), Euan McWhirter (Jewellery), Tens (Eyewear) and Hunter (Accessories); Scottish Textile Brand/Manufacturer of the Year – Gibson & Birkbeck, Pringle of Scotland, EDITION, BARRIE and Harris Tweed Hebrides; Luxury Retailer of the Year – Burberry (Edinburgh), Harvey Nichols (Edinburgh), Massimo Dutti (Glasgow) and Emporio Armani (Glasgow); Scottish Young Designer of the Year – Lime Blonde, Kerrie ALDO, Cats Brothers, Charles Jeffrey and Samantha McCoach – Le Kilt; and Scottish Retailer of the Year – Wear Eponymous, Tens, IOLLA, Walker Slater, W2 and Kestin Hare. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and event on October 21, co-hosted by the Chairman Dr. Tessa Hartmann CBE and The Rt Hon David Mundell MP, Secretary of State for Scotland, at the Rosewood London.
