SkinCeuticals introduces Retinol 1% night cream

August sees the launch of Retinol 1% night cream by SkinCeuticals. The new maximum strength refining night cream, Retinol 1% contains 1.0% pure retinol. This new product joins a portfolio of SkinCeuticals Refining Night Creams containing graduating strengths of retinol and featuring ‘encapsulation technology’ which stabilises the retinol ingredient without enclosing it, to protect potency. In addition, the unique delivery system is based on the skin’s lipid structure to help ensure optimal penetration of the effective ingredients. Retinol is a derivative of vitamin A and is widely recognised to be one of the most effective ingredients for treating signs of skin ageing. Retinol is a potent ingredient that converts into an active form (retinoic acid) when applied to the skin, stimulating cell regeneration and collagen production, resulting in younger looking skin, which is firmer and more refined. Due to the acceleration of skin cell renewal, retinol products are often used to prevent and control acne and can be very effective at reducing pigmentation. Retinol 1% is available in three graduating strengths: Retinol 0.3 – 0.3% Pure Retinol (£44.00), Retinol 0.5 – 0.5% Pure Retinol (£49.00) and Retinol 1% – 1% Pure Retinol (£59.00). Retinol 1% is available from August 2013 online at skinceuticals.co.uk and dispensing doctors clinics nationwide.
