Fashion PR agency SPRING London has been appointed by Tata Naka to handle its UK and European PR, communications and VIP liaison. The label is designed by identical twins Tamara and Natasha Surguladze, collectively referred to as Tata-Naka. They arrived in London in 1996 to study womenswear design at Central St Martins, graduating in 2000, the same year Barneys NYC dedicated a whole wall to their collection. 2010 saw them celebrate their 10th anniversary in the industry with worldwide stockists including Browns in London. Tata Naka’s spring/summer 2015 collection draws inspiration from the clean lines and deceptive simplicity of modern architecture. Following on from the interior design concept of their previous collection the designers have turned their regard to the structure that surrounds. This idea resonates with the Tata Naka aesthetic of prints, appliqué and conceptual shapes.
