The Communications Store handles Emilia Wickstead
The Communications Store has been appointed to oversee the UK PR and Communications for Emilia Wickstead, with immediate effect. Emilia Wickstead is a British-based and New Zealand-born designer who spent her formative years in Milan and gained a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours in Fashion Design and Marketing at Central Saint Martin’s. After graduating, Emilia worked at Giorgio Armani, Proenza Schouler, Narciso Rodriguez and American Vogue in New York and Milan, before returning to London to establish her own label in 2008. She was shortlisted for the BFC/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2014 and 2013, and for the Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize in 2013. Originally making her name as a made-to-measure Atelier, Emilia has expanded her repertoire to include seasonal ready-to-wear collections and since 2012 has shown on-schedule at London Fashion Week.
