The Future of Fashion winners announced
The Future of Fashion program, based on a collaboration between Paris-based trade show Who’s Next Pret-A-Porter Paris and online designer platform NOT JUST A LABEL (NJAL), aims to provide a launch pad for 20 emerging designers to grow internationally. The winners include ready-to-wear designers: Dora Abodi – Hungary; Hanger – UK; Inbal Gvili – Israel; Ioana Ciolacu – UK; Kelly Love – UK; Marius Janusauskas – Belgium; Maria Gluck – Germany; Paskal – Ukraine; Sneha Arora – India; and Tom Van Der Borght – Belgium. The winning accessory designers include Charkviani – UK (shoes); De Siena Shoes – Italy (shoes); Dinu Bodicio – UK (hats); Gretchen – Germany (leathergoods); Lamat – Serbia (bags); Michal Taharlev – Israel (jewels); Michelle Dianne L.Dulce – Philippines (hats); PASIONAE – USA/Italy/Germany (jewels); Salomé Charly – France (jewels); and VäSka – Spain (bags). The 20 selected designers will now enter a two-year coaching program, with two set to will receive a business plan worth €20,000, six extra months coaching with the program partners and the opportunity to exhibit at WHO’S NEXT trade show at the end of the program
