Harvey Nichols exclusively launches Tim Coppens womenswear, a first for the Belgium designer. The capsule collection consists of 12 looks, which focus on the technical development of fabric, inspired by athletic practicalities and modern construction, with an emphasis on comfort and function. Inspired by nineties musician, Ian Brown, the collection includes Tim Coppens’ iconic parka, which has been redeveloped and slightly elongated for the female form. Further details include pleated finishes that offer a new perspective on the masculine silhouettes, while layering and cut-out accents are a key element to his first womenswear line. Mirroring the menswear collection, a predominately monochrome hue is juxtaposed with his signature print, Jungle Sunrise that weaves between the collections. Other pieces include a nylon tailored bomber (£765), napa crew sweater (£450), pleated longline tank (£610) and pleated mini skirt (£475).
