Tree Communications has been appointed to manage the press and publicity for selected talent under the umbrella of Fashion Philippines. The British Fashion Council is supporting six new designers from the Philippines as part of the International Fashion Showcase at London Fashion Week. CITEM (The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions) and GTIDO (Garments and Textile Industry Development Office) in collaboration with the Philippine Trade & Investment Centre will once again spearhead the Philippine participation with six of their best emerging designers. The six designers include Jun Artajo, Tipay Caintic, Olivia d’Aboville, Joel Escober, Adante L. Leyesa and Ken Samudio representing clothing and accessories. This season marks the first exhibition for the Philippines, alongside showcases from 13 other countries including Argentina, Austria, China, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Nigeria, Paraguay, Portugal, Slovakia, Switzerland and Vietnam. The designers will showcase their autumn / winter 2014 collections at the International Fashion Showcase this month – see Fashion Insight Events.
