    UGG Australia partners with Office to launch talent campaign
    This summer, global footwear brand UGG Australia will partner with UK retailer Office to lead a nationwide search for undiscovered talent by offering the chance for consumers to design a pair of UGG Australia boots for the first time in the brand’s history. Launching May 15 hosted on office.co.uk, participants can upload their own UGG Australia boot design (or download a template for those less confident with their design skills), into a virtual design hub. The site allows them to navigate between the gallery of entries for inspiration, search for their own friends’ entries and vote for their favourite design. Judges include Sue Saunders, Course Director of the Cordwainers Footwear Design at London College of Fashion, fashion stylist Aradia Crockett and Stylist magazine’s Executive Fashion Editor Kitty McGee. Judging will take place after the competition closes June 17 with first place receiving £1,000, second place £500 and third place £250, in addition to taking part in creative workshops with the judges. Participants will also have the opportunity of having their illustration showcased in store during the AW13 season. An exclusive tote bag featuring selected illustrations will also be available from Office stores as part of the campaign.
