UK Lingerie Awards doubles in size for 2013

 

The UK Lingerie Awards, an annual celebration of the lingerie, swimwear and intimate apparel industries, will be opened up to the public for the first time this December, doubling in size at a new venue. The Awards will be transformed from a trade event for 300 people to a consumer event for 600 people including celebrities, consumer press, lingerie executives and members of the public; at Freemasons’ Hall in Covent Garden. The event will include a sit-down dinner for 300 and a cocktails-and-canapés party for 600, followed by a theatre-style awards presentation. The change of format for the evening has allowed for ticket prices to be halved since last year. The date of the UK Lingerie Awards has also moved from September to the first week of December. The nomination process will begin in August, with details to be released nearer to that time.
