Footwear brand United Nude has announced the launch of its Lo Res Pump and Lo Res Lo in exclusive silver and gold chrome. The original design concept of the Lo Res shoe, which stands for low resolution, is that of a three-dimensional shape, resulting in a gemstone-like object. United Nude’s Creative Director Rem D Koolhaas about the shoe: “I always wanted to launch this design in a chromed version, which before was technically impossible. As technologies evolve, suddenly some materializing geniuses figured out how to apply a flexible chromed finish for rubber-molded objects. These shoes twinkle like never before!” The shoes are available at United Nude stores, selected retailers and online. Additionally, the brand has announced the opening of its new pop-up shop in Shoreditch’s Old Truman Brewery, London. The pop-up store, which opened this weekend, will remain open for at least six months. The store will showcase the brand’s current season as well as its archive collection which will feature a selection of previous seasons with a discounted price.
