Victoria Beckham has agreed to take over as editor-in-chief and guest of honour for the Christmas edition of Vogue Paris. “We handed over the running of this issue to a woman who, throughout our working together, has proved to be the exact opposite of her public image. She is spontaneous with a great sense of humour, humble yet at the same time driven by a healthy ambition. She is a perfectionist, like everyone who is passionate about their work”, explains Emmanuelle Alt, editor-in-chief of French Vogue. Victoria Beckham says “Being asked to be the guest editor of the Christmas issue of Vogue Paris this year was an incredible honor. Working with Emmanuelle Alt and her team was both exciting and inspiring and I am so proud of what we have created.” The issue will feature exclusive Beckham family photos, favourite addresses in Los Angeles, beauty secrets; and guests including Valentino, Anish Kapoor, Francesca Segal and Diana Ross. This special Christmas issue sees the launch of the Vogue Paris monthly interactive digital edition enhanced for iPad enabling readers to share the magazine’s top photos on social networks and integrated kiosk feature to find and collect back issues of Vogue Paris. The Christmas edition of Vogue Paris will be on newsstands from December 2.
