Zumba unveils its technology-clad footwear uniquely designed for the ultimate dance-fitness experience. The three new footwear styles, which come in a variety of vibrant colours, feature Z-Slide technology allowing the wearer to safely slide across any surface. “Hundreds of thousands of people have been asking for it – the perfect shoe designed to let you move in a Zumba class, or any dance class,” said Zumba Chief Apparel Officer Brian Ruskin. “The biggest thing that sets these trainers apart is the advanced performance technology that you can’t find in any other shoe out there on the market today.” The Z-Slide technology is incorporated on the outsole of the footwear to increase mobility and allow the freedom to slide on any floor surface (including carpet). In addition, Zumba’s Ball Pivot Point technology on the shoe’s sole eases movement and provides security while turning or spinning during dance movements. The three styles include Zumba Impact featuring Z-Compress Outsole technology, which reduces the force of impact and then returns to its original form for the next impact; Zumba Flex featuring Z-ARCH technology, which maximises arch support; and Zumba Energy which offers a lightweight cushioning system that minimises energy expended during performance to reduce fatigue. Zumba’s footwear collection is now available in an array of colours online. The low-tops range in price from £70 – £85, while the high-tops are priced at £85.
